Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using JetSetAlarm (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JetSetAlarm.

2. End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This App is licensed, not sold, to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as permitted by applicable law.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks.

This license is effective until terminated by you or by us. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of these Terms.

3. Description of Service

JetSetAlarm is a smart alarm clock application designed for travelers, remote workers, and anyone managing multiple time zones. The App provides:

• Timezone-anchored alarms that adjust when you travel
• Smart reminders with completion tracking
• Medication schedules with dose history, take-it-later and remind-me-at-home (remind me at home: premium)
• Trips with an arrival review, and an optional jet lag plan with science-based schedules (premium)
• World clock and time converter for tracking multiple cities
• Nap timer with preset durations
• Calendar synchronization (premium)
• Backup and restore functionality (premium)
• Home screen and lock screen widgets, Control Center controls and an Apple Watch companion
• Siri shortcuts integration
• Weather information at wake time (premium)

Some features require an in-app purchase to unlock. The App requires iOS 26 or later; the Apple Watch app requires watchOS 26 or later.

4. In-App Purchases

a) JetSetAlarm Pro: The App offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("JetSetAlarm Pro") that unlocks premium features. This is a single payment, not a subscription, and does not recur.

b) Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

c) Free Tier Limits: Without a purchase, the App is limited to 3 alarms, 5 reminders, 3 medications and 2 world clocks, the first four built-in alarm sounds and the default snooze duration. The nap timer, widgets, Siri and the Apple Watch app are available for free.

d) Refund Policy: All purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit Apple's "Report a Problem" page at https://reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. We cannot process refunds outside of Apple's system.

e) Restore Purchases: You can restore your previous purchase at any time by tapping "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen. This uses your Apple ID to verify prior transactions at no additional cost.

f) Family Sharing: JetSetAlarm Pro supports Apple's Family Sharing. If a family organizer has purchased JetSetAlarm Pro, eligible family members may access premium features at no additional cost, subject to Apple's Family Sharing terms.

g) Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing for the in-app purchase at any time. Price changes do not affect existing purchases.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the App, including purchase verification mechanisms.
• Not use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Ensure your device settings allow notifications if you wish to receive alarm and reminder alerts.
• Maintain the security of your device and Apple ID credentials.
• Not use automated systems or software to extract data from the App.

6. Alarm Reliability and Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: While we strive to provide reliable alarm functionality, the App cannot guarantee that alarms will always trigger as expected. Alarm delivery depends on factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

• Device notification settings and permissions
• iOS battery optimization and Low Power Mode
• Device restarts, system updates, or crashes
• Airplane Mode or Do Not Disturb settings
• Focus Mode configurations
• Available device storage and memory
• Third-party app interference

You acknowledge that you should not rely solely on this App for critical, safety-sensitive, or time-critical wake-up needs where failure to wake could result in harm, financial loss, or missed obligations. We recommend using a secondary alarm for critical situations.

7. Jet Lag and Health Information

The jet lag adjustment schedules, light exposure recommendations, sleep timing suggestions, and other wellness information provided by this App are for general informational purposes only. This information does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your sleep schedule, particularly if you have sleep disorders, medical conditions, or are taking medication that affects sleep.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, sound recordings, user interface design, and software code, are the exclusive property of JetSetAlarm and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. The JetSetAlarm name and logo are trademarks of JetSetAlarm. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (alarm labels, reminder notes, category names). By using the backup and export features, you acknowledge that exported data files are your responsibility to secure and protect.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP, INCLUDING WEATHER DATA, TIMEZONE INFORMATION, AND JET LAG SCHEDULES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JETSETALARM, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP; (B) ANY FAILURE OF ALARMS OR NOTIFICATIONS TO TRIGGER; (C) ANY ERRORS OR INACCURACIES IN TIMEZONE, WEATHER, OR JET LAG INFORMATION; (D) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA; OR (E) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JetSetAlarm and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

13. Modifications to the App and Terms

a) App Changes: We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features within it, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the App.

b) Terms Changes: We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page within the App. The revised Terms will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Germany.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JetSetAlarm regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
